Accommodation

Up to 7 berths in 2 cabins with 6'2" headroom. Fore cabin consisting of a vee berth with infill to form a double berth and stowage. Heads compartment to port with Lavac marine toilet, wash basin and shower with hot and cold water supply. Hanging locker opposite. Saloon with two settee berths and folding table. Galley to starboard comprising of a gas cooker with 2-burners, grill and oven, stainless steel sink, hot and cold water supply & fridge plus ample storage. Pressurised hot water supplied via calorifier with immersion coil. Teak and holly sole boards. Blue Draylon upholstery. Curtains. Eberspacher diesel fired central heating system. 

Mechanical Systems

Located beneath cockpit sole. Nanni N3, 29hp,  3-cylinder diesel engine. Freshwater cooled via heat exchanger. Morse type single lever controls with electric start. Construction

Built by Orion Marine in 1988.  Solid hand laid grp hull. White GRP hull and superstructure with blue painted non-slip decks. Hull Copper coat in 2010. Tiller steering to keel hung rudder. Encapsulated lead ballast in long keel with 45% ratio. Self draining cockpit. Alloy toe rails.  Teak hand rails. Treadmaster to cockpit seats and sole. 

Whisper of Deben has been in her present ownership for 14 years. They have extensively blue water cruised her including UK, Atlantic coats of EU, Canaries, Atlantic crossing to Caribbean  and back via the Azores and Ireland. Last surveyed in 2010.
