MDL Marinas has announced the dates for the 2008 Southampton Sports Boat and RIB Show at Hamble Point Marina. The three-day event, which will run from Saturday 3rd May until Monday 5th May 2008 is the 5th annual Sports Boat and RIB Show, and with plans underway for even more exciting features and exhibitors it's set to be the best Show yet.
The show was relocated to Hamble Point Marina on the River Hamble and the location has proved to be a great success; attracting quality visitors and providing the perfect venue for plenty of on and off-water action.
Many exhibitors from this last year's Show commented on the success of the event including Colin Baldwin from Rib-X who said; "It is a fantastic Show that is very well organised. We had an exceptional level of sales across the three days from a great turnout of quality visitors. We'll definitely be back next year."
David Allen from Southwater Marine also had a good event commenting; "The return on investment for this Show is great. We've sold a number of boats and I see a promising future for this event."
Past exhibitors at the Show have included Revenger, Hunton Powerboats, Raymarine, ICOM and EP Barrus. The 2008 Show promises non-stop entertainment, attractions for adults and children alike, exhibits, competitions and demonstrations, as well as a huge range of sports boats and RIBs on display in the marina itself.
