TheYachtMarket - "continues to be a valuable tool"
09 January 2008 - 10:39
Since Anchor Yacht & Ship Sales first started working with The Yacht Market back in July of 2003, Richard and the others that we have dealt with have been nothing but professional. They have always valued our feedback and been willing to work with us.
As TheYachtMarket.com has grown and changed over the years we have never gotten the feeling that we were “lost in the shuffle.” They are still very much a “hands on company” that is more focused on improving the marketing capabilities that they can provide to their clients and differentiating themselves from their competition, than figuring out how they can justify increasing rates for their current clients .
One example of how The Yacht Market helped our bottom line in the last year is that as dealers for Valiant Yachts we had agreed to take a client’s Whitby 42 in trade towards a new semi-custom Valiant if it was not sold before delivery. A month after posting an ad on TheYachtMarket.com we received contact from a buyer in the UK who was interested in the Whitby 42 that we had for sale in the US. To make a long story short the client from the UK bought the Whitby 42 and sailed it back to the UK prior to the new Valiant 42 being commissioned.
We at Anchor Yacht & Ship Sales have always been firm believers in the value of global marketing, and TheYachtMarket.com continues to be a valuable tool for reaching our clients outside the United States.
