Moorings 4600 Robertson and Caine
Designed in collaboration between The Moorings, architects Morrelli and Melvin and builders Robertson and Caine, the Moorings 4600 is a blue water cruising catamaran that combines spacious living accommodations, high quality construction and great performance. Built in Cape Town, South Africa, the Moorings 4600 is fully equipped with twin Volvo 55Hp engines, full electronics, generator and air conditioning. Inspired by the Moorings 6200, the raised helm station, open to the cockpit, is situated in the extended hardtop roof with all controls led aft, for excellent visibility and ease of manoeuvres. The interior features four private staterooms with en suite heads and showers, a fully fitted modern galley and a full size navigation station in the salon. The signature “walk-through” access to the roomy cockpit and aft bathing platform, connecting the two transoms, completes this exciting new model.

HULL
The hulls are of GRP construction with balsa core for strength, stiffness and insulation, using high quality materials. The hulls carry a comprehensive limited osmosis warranty from Robertson & Caine.
An exceptionally shallow draft of 4ft5in / 1.35M is achieved
The hulls are painted with EPA approved environmentally friendly anti-fouling
Both deck and hull are finished in white gel coat with the trademark Moorings striping and graphics
The deck has a molded-in non-skid pattern providing excellent traction even in the most severe conditions
The wide aft platform allows easy access to the boat and connects both swim platforms. A large opening to the cockpit allows direct access from the aft platform into the cockpit.
