T-24 24
The T-24 is a spacious and fast classic family cruising yacht. This example has had a new engine fitted (1996), epoxy treatment to the hull (2000), and new running and standing rigging (1996) amongst other things. She now requires restoration and has been priced accordingly, making an excellent winter project for her next owner.
Accommodation:
See plan. 5 berths in 2 cabins with 5'10" headroom. Marine toilet in separate compartment. Two burner gas stove with grill. Galley sink with manual freshwater supply. Cool box. Crockery and cutlery for 6 persons.
Mechanical:
1996 Yanmar 1GM10, single cylinder, 9hp diesel engine located under companionway. Shaft drive to three bladed propeller. Raw water cooled. Electric start. Single lever controls. Engine professionally installed in mid-1996 by French Marine.
2 x 12 volt batteries charging from alternator. Isolator and selection switch. Interior lighting.
Sails & Spars:
Masthead rigged sloop. Gold anodised mast Proctor mast, boom and spinnaker pole. Stainless steel standing rigging (new 1996). Wire/rope running rigging. Round boom roller reefing mainsail. Sailspar headsail furling system (new 1996). 2 x Lewmar self-tailing sheet winches. 2 x halyard winches.

Built in 1969 by T.S.P.Marine Ltd. and Hawkbridge Ltd. White painted GRP hull. Underwater hull slurry blasted in 2000 and two coats epoxide resin. Scrim Cloth and resin covered Plywood decks over beams with blue Treadmaster non-slip areas. White painted Plywood cabin structure. Cast iron fin keel. Tiller steering to skeg hung rudder. Self draining cockpit with transom door. New windows 1996.
