Sails & Rigging
Stainless steel rigging with forestay roller reefing, main & mizzen sails, Spinnaker with chutescoop, spinnaker pole and all the gear that’s required.
Other
The hull has undergone extensive work by professional M.A. Cobb in Sept 1998, coat of epoxy applied interfill 400 and three more coats of epoxy, hull antifouled hard applied.
Sprayhood and Dodgers, Main & Mizzen sail covers, boarding ladder to stern. Plenty of cockpit storage. The long cockpit is surprisingly roomy for a ketch, with the mizzen mast stepped out of the way on top of the stout looking steering pedestal.
This boat sails exceptionally well with just the jib and mizzen in stronger winds. It has the feel of a boat that was designed to plough on relentlessly, regardless of conditions.
Sailed extensively between UK, France and the South Coast.
Anchor & chain with manual winch. The anchor chain is fed to a locker below which can be accessed through the forecabin. Warps & fenders, horseshoe lifebuoys x2
This Berwick must be viewed for full appreciation.
Certificate of British Registry expires 29th March 2011. For more information please contact Roy on 07802 775467 or evenings 0117 942 4425. .
